This campaign won “Campaign of the Year,” voted by the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA). It was the fourth straight advertising campaign for Rusty — dubbed “Imagine” — that helped elevate the brand from a dismal slide in popularity to its rightful position as an action sports leader. A lot of the credit goes to the internal marketing team and Rusty himself for pushing the agency to deliver unexpected ideas that don’t follow the conventional formula for the youth lifestyle market.
